Guy With One Lung Climbs High
Sean Swarner has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro he is inspiring other cancer survivors by leading them up the trails to the summit. He was twice diagnosed with cancer, at age 13 and again at 16. He had one of his lungs removed and still lives just like a normal person. Isn't that soo cool. I wonder how hard that would have been for him? There was no words that I found tricky in the article. I got my info from http://www.goodnewsnetwork.org

Same But Different

Over the holidays the Marama classroom has been done up. It is now so cool. We have all new carpet, doors and the clockbay has been turned into a space for learning too. I like the new Marama better than last year but I do miss having my year nine friends at Primary.

The Marama Way

We all have things the we are expected to do just like Marama. The Marama Way is things that we kids in Marama use as a guideline to help us to have a great year in the Marama team. It is expected for us to follow it. It is to help use make good choices. This year I have to follow the Marama way to have the best year I can, the Marama way will help me to do great things in a great way. I have to be in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing always.

Welcome Back

I am looking forward to …
Doing new things in the new awesome classroom.

Something different I am going to try is...
To work with different people in a group.

My first impressions in the Marama Team…
Big, awesome and fun.

Goals I would like to achieve this year…
Learn my angles and perfect them.
To do this, I need to work with Miss Coles on angles and also work on online options.

Something I already know I am going to do better this year…
I am going to proofread my writing better.
