Easter

Over the easter holidays, I went to the beach. My family has a bach in Paunni. We went for walks and some really good food. We swam in two water holes. One had a rope swing and the other had a water hole. WE also went up the Pinnacles. Which has a few tunnels there. On Easter Sunday, we made easter nests.

A man who was homeless helped by to teenagers how bought him a ticket for a train home. Now three years later he has given them $10000 for the random act of kindness. The Colour Run

Last weekend me, my friend Abby, my sister Julie, my Mum and some of her friends went to the colour run. The colour is a fun run where people throw coloured powder at you as you run. There are five colours they throw at you pink, purple, blue, green and yellow. They throw it at you at the different colour stations. It was so fun. Abby and I laid down in the colours and got our white shirts all colourful. We got shirts in our packs that have the colour run logo on them. At the end of the run, we got a packet of colour that we all threw up in the air. Here is a photo of us when we threw it up.

IE is an inquiry project, based on interests and passions. We explore something we are curious about and share it by doing something we enjoy doing, for example, I love art and craft so I am going to share my learning and concerns about global warming through art and crafts.  Others are making documentaries, or coding and programming. I am investigating about global warming as I said before. Ice is melting worldwide from global warming, especially at the Earth’s poles. The sea level rising making some big problems. I am learning more about global warming, sea level rising and things that have happened/will happen because of it. I am really excited to share my learning because I think more people need to be aware of global warming.

Teen Takes Paralyzed Dad To College, Cares For Him While He Studies

A infection maybe a boy named Zhao Delong unable to walk as a child. His father cared for him. Years of treatment got Zhao back to normal, but his father got paralyzed as he was recovering. Zhao soon needed to go off to college, he did not what to leave his father behind. He moved his dad into his dormitory room at the so he could care for his paralyzed dad. An 8-year-old girl named Amelia Meyer was diagnosed with brain cancer, the girl said that her dream was to pick up huge amounts of trash in her Kansas City community. The little girl decided to use her Make-A-Wish grant to become an environmental philanthropist. I think this is an awesome wish and think that this girl is soo cool. I wonder how bad her cancer is?
