My Writing

I thought it would be cool to share a piece of writing I have been writing. It is not finish but this is what I have got.

Falling Grace

Chapter One
What Happen In The Morning

I feel my heart pounding like a drum them as I sit in the stable reading the book my mother gave me before she passed. I am worried, I am nervous but most of all I am angry. The queen order me here until I beg her for her forgiveness. I hear footsteps. But I shan't look up from my book. Why would I need to apologise for all the pain I have given her after all the pain she has given me. All I did was ask her to help me to save Vernon for the dangers that lay ahead. I feel like a little kid locked in my room. The book is all I have left of my mother. The queen of Loau or at least she use to be.

I hear a yell. So I look up, it is the queen, I see the rage upon her face. I'm too apologise and not get Vernon the Prince of Loau. But that we never happen. Vernon Is my brother he was my life, I was like his mum, till the day he became a knight. I wish he was here. He would have stuck up for me. Now he is in deep danger. I have to listen to the angry voice of the Queen and her words swirling around my head.

I plan to escape and save him from the war. We are trying to save the land but Newbowland dark Lord wants it. So we will fight for or land. Well not me nor Vernon. We will run away. They pick the people to fight and they will pick Vernon. So before they pick we will run up the south mountain.  They will pick us tomorrow so I have to make a plan. Vernon is coming so we need to leave as soon as he is here. But how...

Chapter Two
Time to Fight
I need to pack for I will escape tomorrow night. So I sneak down to the kitchen. I hear nothing but I need to check, so a take a peek through the gap in the door. Empty, good. I grab some old bread and full up a big bottle of water. Then head down to the  stable to check if Alice my horse is ready. She is a Andalusian with grey coat and a brown mane. I have had her since I was little. She is like my sister that I never had.

It is time to get some sleep, so hike up the stairs and into my bedroom. I lay down and I am very tired but something was keeping me up. Veron might not want to come the Queen would blackmail him to fight. That one thing lead me to a night without sleep. Tossing and turning. I get up from my boiling hot bed and open the curtains to find a lovely day. Perfect for escaping.

                           Chapter Three
The Escaping
I know the Guards would let me through the gate on a normal day, but with the Queen being so angry at me I am not to sure today is one of those days. This means I have to find another way to get out. This is going to be tricky because the gate is the only exit. Wait the gate is not the only exit me and Alice can jump the wooden fence surrounding the horse stable. That’s by the south mountain.  I'm nervous I do not yet know if Veron will want to come with me. If he does not come I will have to go by myself and that would be dreadful.

I grab my pack bag a head off for the stabes. Alice is confused on what I am doing here when I arrive. She normally get feeded at lunch time so this is a first. I put Alice gear on her and jump up upon her back. I kick open the gate and it shrieked as it as it swung open. I gallop with Alice out the stables and forward to my opponent the tall wooden fence. I talk to Alice as we approach the gate “I know we can do it.”

Alice's front hooves lifts of the ground and her legs stretch out over the gate. Her back legs jump up and we fly over the fence.  I feel full with relieved, We have done it, we have conquered the fence.  Now quickly we have to head off to get Veron.  Me and Alice take off. I feel like we're going as fast as lightning as we speed down to the royal driveway.

I see many carriages flooding in the driveway.  There is about a million so how will I know which one is the Verons. Wait what's is the symbol he has on his knight armorer. A cross look for a cross.

Art Evaluation

Last term for art we did some zentangling. It was really fun because we could pick pattens that fit our own personalty. First we practised many pattens to go on our art the we thought of something that we love I pick a apple. I chose a apple because I love apples. We drew it on a A3 piece of paper. Then what we filled it with  our own favourite pattens. Then we sharpied it. On my art I chose to do the background instead of the apple. My favourite part of my art would have to be the cool colours I used. The most challenging part was rubbing out all the pencil lines and the thing that I would do next time if I did it again would be to not press so hard with my pencil so it would be easer to rub out the pencil lines. My favourite patten would be the patten at the top with the flowers.

One Bite saved his life

Eugene Finney is probably the only person you’ll ever meet who will tell you. Finney and his daughter were swimming off Huntington Beach, California when they were hit by a rough wave. As he clutched his daughter and slipped under water, he felt something large slam into him and cut across his back. He realized it was most likely a shark bite, though not a serious one. Finney didn’t bother going to the hospital until he got back home to Finchburg. Doctors ran a scan and found something that was a bigger threat than the shark had been — cancer on Finney’s kidney. Without the scan, doctors told him he probably wouldn’t have known he was sick until it was too late to save him. But thanks to the shark, they caught the cancer incredibly early. Afterwards, he showed no signs of the cancer. Is it that really lucky. I wonder how long he hadx been in hospital ?There was no words that I found tricky in the article.  I got my info from http://www.goodnewsnetwork.org
